American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of neuro-progressive, stepdown, or ICU experience.

Neuro Progressive Care unit in an inpatient hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Rotating holiday coverage required

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration

AHA or RQI certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in neuro-progressive, stepdown, or ICU nursing

Epic EMR experience required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered

US Social Security Number required

Active NY RN license required
-
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be accepted

All candidates must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer, with 2 attempts allowed to pass

Navy blue scrubs are required

Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington

No blocked scheduling is permitted

More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week contract period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out

Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
