We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a commercial janitorial service provider, we rely on strong client relationships and strategic outreach to expand our customer base and consistently deliver exceptional service standards.
In this full-time role, you’ll drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. This position requires travel across Maryland, Northern and Southern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and Delaware. A valid driver’s license, a clear driving record, and reliable transportation are required. This position offers a salary plus commission, a vehicle allowance, an annual performance bonus, PTO, and health insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and cold-call potential clients to generate leads
- Deliver engaging and effective sales presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions
- Travel across Maryland, Northern and Southern Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Delaware to meet with clients and visit job sites
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in prospecting, cold-calling, and contract negotiation
- Strong client relationship and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in custodial, janitorial, or facilities management industries (preferred)
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
