Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Day Habilitation-ISS (Individualized Skills and Socialization Services) Manager to lead and oversee day program operations dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will coordinate program activities, supervise staff, and foster meaningful relationships with participants, families, and community partners. Your leadership will ensure that our programs deliver person-centered services that promote independence, social engagement, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of engaging day habilitation ISS programs tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Supervise and support program staff, including training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Manage program budgets allowance, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with participants, families, to promote collaboration and person-centered planning.
- Oversee behavioral health interventions and support strategies to foster positive behavioral outcomes for participants.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, maintain records related to participant progress, incident reports, and program activities in accordance with organizational policies.
- Monitor program quality through regular assessments, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a social services or behavioral health setting, preferably with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated success in program development, implementation, and supervision of staff within a community-based environment.
- Strong background in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including knowledge of behavioral health strategies and person-centered approaches.
- Experience in relationship management with clients, families, and team members.
- Administrative expertise in budgeting, record keeping, compliance documentation, and program evaluation.
- Supervisory experience leading teams to deliver compassionate care while meeting organizational goals.
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices related to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
