Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function, but also may include support of other Accounting functions in areas such as A/R, month-end, and general accounting.
Job Location
This is a hybrid position out of our office in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities

Review invoices and statements for accuracy

Code and process incoming invoices (3-way match) according to company procedures

Upload invoices into ERP System

Respond to vendor inquiries, research and resolve billing disputes Maintain proper back up files for research and reference

Research for audits, provide backup
- Ensure compliance with all standard accounting polices and SOX requirements Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers

Communicate as necessary with accounting team to ensure invoices are processed timely

Assist in the month-end closing process

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
-
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
-
At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable

Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail
-
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
-
Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience
-
Experience using Lawson/Infor M3
