Tribute Eatery & Bar is a full-service restaurant and bar featuring comfort food favorites, craft cocktails, curated wines, and a selection of local beers. We are known for a lively atmosphere and a team-focused culture that has made us a popular spot in The District!
We are seeking dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Line Cooks who take pride in quality food and strong execution. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience, grow their skills, and work in a fast-paced, supportive kitchen environment.
Compensation ranges from $15-$22/hour based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available. Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays (morning shifts).

Responsibilities

Prepare and organize workstation ingredients, equipment, and kitchen supplies before and during service.

Assist with food preparation including slicing, portioning, chopping, mixing, and sauce preparation.

Cook menu items using a variety of techniques including grilling, sautéing, frying, and broiling while following company recipes and quality standards.

Ensure all food is handled, labeled, stored, and prepared according to sanitation and safety guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift, including sanitizing work areas and cooking equipment.

Complete assigned kitchen cleaning tasks, inventory checks, and food storage documentation.

Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and fellow team members to support smooth service operations.

Support additional back-of-house duties as needed during service or prep shifts.
Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Previous restaurant or line cook experience preferred, but not required.

Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods of time.

Must be able to regularly lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
