Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering strictly to food safety and handling protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and food prep tools.
- Support food service operations by plating dishes promptly and accurately for timely delivery to guests or servers.
- Follow all food safety regulations, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and temperature controls.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, with a strong foundation in culinary techniques.
- Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and meal assembly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, highlighting familiarity with special dietary needs.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
