Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and actively assist them in finding products related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design baby needs.
- Provide assistance in finding the correct sizing
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling and cashiering duties while ensuring accurate retail math calculations
- Maintain well-organized merchandise displays and stock shelves to enhance product visibility and accessibility
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts to ensure product availability
- Offer guidance on e-commerce options and assist customers with online orders or product inquiries
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to explain product features, answer questions, and promote sales opportunities.
- Assist in production of our custom items
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping others is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transactions
- Strong organizational skills to manage stocking tasks and maintain attractive displays
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; additional language skills are advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise or stock items safely
