Driving Instructor
Deer Valley Driving School is hiring a Driving Instructor to help students become safe, confident, and responsible drivers. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, professional, dependable, and enjoys coaching students through real-world driving situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction to students
- Teach safe driving habits, traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle control
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Maintain a calm, supportive, and professional learning environment
- Ensure students follow all safety rules, company policies, and traffic laws during lessons
- Communicate student progress, concerns, and scheduling updates to management
- Maintain accurate lesson records, attendance notes, and required documentation
- Represent Deer Valley Driving School with strong customer service and professionalism
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean/satisfactory driving record preferred
- Previous teaching, coaching, training, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with new drivers
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful driving situations
- Must be able to pass required background check and drug screening
- Passion for helping students build confidence and safe driving skills
