About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to assembling and maintaining mechanical equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Clean, oil, or sub-assemble components at the appropriate assembly station.
- Assemble new equipment according to blueprint specifications.
- Load assembled units and transport equipment to test or paint shop areas.
- Utilize hand tools, parmalee wrenches, and torquing equipment effectively.
Requirements
- Experience with assembling mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and torquing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Availability to work 2nd shift (3:30PM - 2:00AM, Monday - Friday).
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
- NEST Training certification.
