Solar Detach & Reset is looking for an experienced Solar Service Technician who specializes in solar panel and inverter troubleshooting. This role handles diagnosing system issues, performing repairs, and ensuring safe, high-quality service for homeowners and roofing partners.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair solar panel, inverter, and wiring issues
- Troubleshoot optimizer, microinverter, and string inverter problems
- Perform system checks, safety inspections, and repair documentation
- Replace damaged components (panels, wiring, breakers, conduit, optimizers)
- Complete photos/notes in Housecall Pro
- Communicate findings with homeowners
- Work safely on all roof types
Requirements
- 3+ years service experience
- Strong inverter troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working on roofs
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Preferred
- Roofing or electrical experience
- Experience with Enphase/SolarEdge systems

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
