Duties
- Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing all manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Support production management by coordinating daily workflows, managing assembly lines, and optimizing process flows
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives like lean manufacturing and process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure products meet specifications and compliance requirements
- Utilize supply chain analytics and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to plan production schedules, manage inventory levels, and streamline supply chain management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on operations management, including maintenance, logistics, and procurement, to ensure smooth plant functions
- Contribute to mechanical troubleshooting, process optimization, and implementing best practices in manufacturing operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of plant management principles
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and MRP for production planning and supply chain management
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement methodologies, and process improvement strategies
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in supply chain analytics and operations management
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams across departments
