We hiring Journeymen Pipe Welders with experience in industrial and commercial HVAC and refrigeration work in Socal.
Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Temp | 50–60 hours per week
Location: Various job sites throughout Southern California
Perks: Gas reimbursement & overtime available
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on piping systems.
- Perform Stick (SMAW) welding on carbon steel pipe.
- Braze and solder copper piping for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret pipe isometric drawings.
- Fit, fabricate, and install piping systems.
- Produce clean, code-compliant welds while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Travel to commercial job sites throughout Southern California.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of pipe welding experience preferred.
- Strong TIG and Stick welding experience.
- Experience with carbon steel and copper piping.
- Commercial HVAC or refrigeration piping experience preferred.
- Ability to read isometric drawings and fit pipe.
- Experience brazing refrigeration piping while using nitrogen purge.
- Advanced welding certifications (AWS, ASME, UA, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Southern California.
- Ability to work overtime (50–60 hours per week).
- Must have your own welding hood, PPE, and basic hand tools
- 6G pipe welding certification.
