Job Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Cash Operations the incumbant oversees the day-to-day functions during their shift, including cash management, staff supervision, and ensuring smooth operations. They are responsible for balancing cash registers, making bank deposits, and adhering to cash handling procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Balancing cash registers, making bank deposits, and tracking daily revenues and expenses.

Assigning tasks, coordinating employee responsibilities, and resolving any issues that arise during the shift.

Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that stock is adequately maintained.

Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety guidelines and financial standards.

Communicating with staff and other managers, providing updates, and conveying information.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to lead, motivate and supervise staff.

Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff.

Ability to identify and resove issues efficiently.

Proficiency in basic arithmetic and financial calculations.

Basic knowledge of POS systems and other relevant software.

Opening or closing the business during their shift.

Training new employees on procedures and standards.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Assisting with other operational tasks as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
