Job Overview
The primary duty of a blender/compounder is to gather raw materials and/or weighed out ingredients from the weighing department according to specifications for the processing of finished products. The blender/compounder will report directly to the Compounding Manager or Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identifies & gathers raw materials and/or weighed out ingredients according to batch records.
- Blend/compound raw materials/ingredients according to specifications
- Record/document batch records accurately.
- Identify allergens to avoid cross-contamination.
- Set up and clean blender/machine/equipment according to procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Food safety standards and regulations. • Knowledge of cGMPs • Ability to manage processes and procedures.
- Ability to manage team members effectively.
- Ability to work in an environment with inside/outside extreme temperatures and in noisy environments.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
. • Able to operate scales.
- Able to read and follow directions accurately.
- Able to record data on specified forms.
Job Type: Full-time
