Job Overview
HARDHAT WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced Rough Terrain Forklift Driver with a valid Class 7 certification to support our construction operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, experience operating heavy equipment on uneven terrain, and the ability to work in fast-paced job site environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate rough terrain forklifts safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Load, unload, and transport materials across uneven ground
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations
- Assist with general labor tasks when needed
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members
Requirements
- Valid Class 7 Forklift Certification (required)
- Proven experience operating rough terrain forklifts (e.g., SkyTrak, Lull)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Familiarity with telehandlers and similar equipment
