Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced and early-career Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services in local schools for the Fall 2026 semester. These positions begin in September and span a 12-week period, offering impactful, full-time roles (35+ hours per week) working with students from preschool through fifth grade.
You will work onsite with vibrant elementary communities serving high Autism and preschool populations. These assignments include multiple nearby locations, with candidates ideally able to travel between schools. There is a particular need for individuals holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); however, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply if they can arrange outside supervision, as district supervision is not available. Please note: SLPAs are not eligible for these roles.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey SLP License
- Current NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Clinical Fellows accepted with their own qualified supervision
- Ability and willingness to commute between school sites
- Experience supporting students with Autism, early childhood, or elementary populations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in preschool through grade 5
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students, especially those with Autism
- Travel between two elementary school sites as needed
