Job Summary:
A MIG Welder in a cryogenic manufacturing company is responsible for the high-precision joining of metals, such as stainless steel and aluminum, that must withstand extremely low-temperature environments. Unlike general welding, this role emphasizes structural integrity and leak-proof seals for components used in high-vacuum or liquid gas systems
Job Description:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on specialized alloys, often focusing on thin-gauge materials and intricate assemblies.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS) to ensure every joint meets strict cryogenic standards.
- Clean, cut, fit, and assemble metal components for welding.
- Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding machines, torches, and related tools.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and aesthetic quality, ensuring compliance with standards (e.g., AWS).
- Adhere to all safety procedures, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work area.

Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Some lifting is required up to 50 lbs.
- TIG Welder with 1 to 5 years of experience
- Mechanical experience is a plus
- The ability to read technical drawings and blueprints is a plus
- Must be a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Welder
