Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across engine, electrical, and vehicle systems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on standard passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles, including diesel engine repair and powertrain servicing.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Repair and replace automotive components such as engines, transmissions, alignments, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections.
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting tasks safely during the repair process while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or similar automotive service background with a focus on automotive engine system repair and diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and engine technology.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and troubleshooting software.
- Familiarity with Nissan vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics, perform heavy lifting safely, and utilize power tools effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to vehicle care and client communication.
- Prior experience working with ADAS systems, alignment equipment, and diesel engines is highly desirable.
