Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Waitress/Server to join our vibrant dining team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the start
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen or host/hostess staff as needed in a busy restaurant or nightclub setting
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Experience with food industry terminology such as serving, food preparation, bussing, and guest services is highly desirable
