Machine shop looking for an experienced machinist to take on a manual machinist role. We handle most common metals on manual mills and lathes to be used in marine applications. We manufacture, fabricate, and repair parts for the marine industry in the greater part of Florida. We are one of the leading machine shops in South Florida for the major yacht market.
Responsibilities will include: Expertise in milling, turning, threading, boring, and broaching. Documenting work completed and the time taken for each job or project. Assisting team members in completing tasks that require multiple parties for a single job. Maintaining machines, tools, consumables, and a clean work space. Reading a drawing, or understanding specific instruction to fabricate a part or fitting necessary to complete a project.
