Duties-
Oversee Staff Accountants and assist in day-to-day operations and client management.

Prepare and review complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company standards.

Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Analyze and interpret cash flow trends to assess liquidity and support financial planning.

Manage general ledger activity and month-end/year-end close processes.

Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing strategic insights to support decision-making.

Review filing of tax documents/reports such as sales tax, 1099s, or other regulatory filings to ensure accuracy.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.

Provide expert financial analysis and recommendations to clients and/or management teams to improve financial performance.

Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills-
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.

Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.

Strong experience with cash flow analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to prioritize tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.

Clear and concise communication skills.

High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
Education-
Degree in accounting or related field is a plus.

3+ years experience in accounting.

CPA preferred but not required.
