JOB SUMMARY:
Mid America Festival producers of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival is seeking a part-time experienced Receptionist to help us present our brand in a positive way to patrons, participants, and vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors, and taking messages.
▪ Takes patron complaints or issues and passes them on to the appropriate departments.
▪ Organizes and files company documents either electronically or with a paper filing system.
▪ Assist/provides support for departments when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be able to interact with patrons, co-workers, participants, and vendors in a professional, courteous manner.
● Must be adaptable, versatile, and tactful in dealings with Festival patrons.
● Must have basic computer knowledge.
● Ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure and deadlines.
● Must be able to pass Mid America Festivals pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history.

Hours:
● 12-24 hours per week. Hours available both Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and Weekends 8:00am-2:00pm. This is a seasonal position August-October 4.

● While preforming the essential functions of this job, this position requires frequent typing, standing, walking, stooping, twisting, and bending.
● Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
