Lundahl Custom Welding is a growing company with great opportunities for career growth and development. Our shop is located in Portage, UT, just off the interstate.
We are looking for motivated welders with preferred experience in SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW. The weld test is 3G/4G with Dual Shield or 7018 on 1/2 inch plate. Weld tests are conducted at Bridgerland Technical College in Logan, UT. Please prepare yourself with your own PPE for the weld test. (Safety glasses, FR shirt, welding hood, and gloves)
Location: Portage, Utah
Pay: $24-$30 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed. Overtime if we exceed 40 hrs/week.
Job includes but is not limited to- welding, grinding, reading blueprints, and fabricating. Must have a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to walk, squat, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
1 year of welding experience.
Preferred Experience:
SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW
Blueprint reading
