We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our 1st shift manufacturing team. If you are a skilled welder capable of working with minimal supervision and taking pride in precision craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG welding primarily on aluminum sheet metal gauge thicknesses ranging from 0.040" to 0.125".
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols accurately.
- Utilize measuring tools, power tools, and shop equipment to inspect and prepare materials.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with production team members.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized weld stations while adhering to ISO 9001 quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional TIG welding experience (required).
- Aluminum Expertise: Demonstrated ability welding thin-gauge aluminum (0.040" – 0.125").
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and utilizing standard measuring and power tools.
- Weld Assessment: Must be able to pass an in-person weld test during the interview process.
- Commute: Ability to reliably commute to 639 Lakeview Ave, Lowell, MA 01850.
