Qualifications
- Experience in the moving industry is preferred but not required
- Great attitude!
- Customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to follow all policies and procedures to the fullest extent
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move furniture, boxes, and other items from one location to another
- Load and unload trucks or vans using proper lifting techniques
- Secure items in the truck to prevent damage during transportation
- Follow specific instructions for each move, including packing and unpacking items
- Use equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and straps to assist with moving heavy items
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each move
