What You'll DoBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial markets.
- Build and execute territory growth strategies to expand market presence.
- Generate new leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers including Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Engineers, and Executives.
Technical Sales
- Meet with customers to understand manufacturing challenges and recommend automation solutions.
- Develop robotic integration and material handling concepts that improve productivity and deliver measurable ROI.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with the engineering team to develop customized automation solutions.
Sales & Project Management
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through project award.
- Develop pricing, proposals, and contracts.
- Build business cases and ROI analyses to support capital equipment investments.
- Negotiate and close complex industrial automation projects.
Industry & Market Development
- Stay current on trends in robotics, manufacturing automation, and material handling.
- Identify new applications and market opportunities.
- Provide customer and market feedback to leadership to support future growth.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
- Proven success selling industrial automation, robotics, material handling systems, or capital equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build a sales pipeline through prospecting.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex B2B sales opportunities.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Preferred Technical Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Industrial robotics (FANUC experience preferred)
- Conveyor and material handling systems
- Manufacturing automation
- Robotic integration
- Factory automation
- Capital equipment sales
- Industrial manufacturing processes
Technical Skills
- CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering teams and executive decision-makers
- Experience developing ROI justifications and value-based sales proposals
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
