We are seeking a skilled Thermoform to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating thermoforming machines to create plastic products according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Thermoform will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Performs set-ups and operates designated thermoforming equipment, completing job assignments as requested
- Maintain and update records on all thermoforming related operations as they relate to daily production, quality and maintenance requirements.
- Perform quality checks to parts being processed using a variety of precision measuring instruments. Develop critical awareness of what to watch for while a job is in process; alignments, fits, cosmetics, print flaws, hydrolysis, etc.
- Maintain all equipment and fixtures in usable condition including lubrication and performing minor repairs. Report necessary repairs of equipment to manager and ensure that repairs are being completed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
- Contribute best thinking to the organization; expected to share experiences, education, and insight to optimize efficiencies.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Experience
- 2 years of experience setting-up, operating vacuum and pressure forming equipment as well as adjusting programs, preferred.
- Prefer knowledge of various plastic materials.
- Read and understand blueprints
