Duties
- Manage daily administrative operations of the ABA services clinic, including scheduling, patient intake, and record keeping.
- Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Supervise clinical support staff, maintaining employee files, onboard new employees, including medical administrative support personnel, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with medical professionals, therapists, and external providers to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- Maintain medical records with precision, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to JCAHO standards.
- Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, financial management, working with vendors, and resource allocation to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies including managed care protocols, utilization management, and acute care standards.
- Implement human resources functions like staff onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems proficiently for documentation, scheduling, billing, and reporting purposes.
- Monitor clinic operations to uphold quality standards in dental or medical office environments with experience in dental clinic or hospital settings preferred.
- Assist leadership with special projects and growth initiatives.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of office management, administrative, or operations experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of medical office management practices including billing procedures and insurance claim processes, or we can provide training.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is essential for daily operations but we will provide training if necessary.
- Background in healthcare management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology to ensure compliance and confidentiality.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
