We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team at The Original Waffle Shop. We are a fast paced, high volume breakfast restaurant known for quality food, teamwork, and consistency. This position is essential to keeping our kitchen prepared and running smoothly each day.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working mornings, staying busy, and being part of a strong team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for daily breakfast and lunch service
- Portion and prep meats, vegetables, fruit, sauces, and other items
- Assist with cooking prep including bacon, sausage, soups, home fries, and other kitchen items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, coolers, and storage
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist kitchen staff with stocking and setup throughout the shift
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning tasks when needed
- Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
