Position Summary Marina Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Electrician to join our growing commercial team. We perform commercial electrical construction, renovations, service work, maintenance, low-voltage installations, lighting upgrades, and educational facility projects throughout Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate has commercial service experience, is comfortable working around live/hot wires, and brings a safety-first, professional approach to every job.

- $30–$45/hr, with DOLI scale wages available through December 2026 (up to $60/hr)

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Perform commercial service work, including troubleshooting and repairs around live/energized (hot) circuits following proper safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, devices, and controls
- Complete service calls and maintenance requests
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
- Maintain accurate daily work reports and time entries
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, including commercial service work
- Experience working safely around live/hot electrical systems required
- Experience with commercial construction, renovations/tenant improvements, and low-voltage systems (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record (required for company vehicle use)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work from ladders and lifts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Reliable transportation to job sites
