American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Radiology Tech with cath lab or interventional scrub experience for a day shift contract position, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Works in a cardiac cath lab setting using GE Innova, GE Optima, and Toshiba Infinix cath lab X-ray units
-
5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
-
On-call schedule includes up to every other weekend and up to 2-3 weekday call days per week

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab, interventional radiology, or surgical scrub setting

ARRT(R) required
-
Louisiana State (LSTBE) license required if applicable

Candidates without X-ray positioning experience may be utilized in a scrub-only capacity

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Floating may be required in rotation with facility staff and in accordance with facility policy and the candidate's clinical experience

Onboarding includes approximately 4 hours of non-paid online modules completed through HealthStream

Holiday coverage is expected

RTO should be kept to a minimum, with no full calendar weeks off preferred and no time off requested during the first two weeks of the assignment; all RTO must be approved prior to the start date
