The Human Resources Manager serves as the primary HR business partner supporting Gantze Mishpacha Employment Services. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for the corporate office, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, compliance, training, and organizational development.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR generalist with strong business acumen and experience supporting corporate, real estate development, property management, finance, accounting, and executive office functions. The HR Manager must be able to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations
- Administer and implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational planning, and workforce development.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Regulatory reports OSHA 300 & 301, EEO1, WC Audits, payroll reports.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate, accounting, finance, executive, administrative, development, construction, acquisitions, leasing, asset management, and property management positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruiting strategies.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate candidate assessments.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure successful employee integration.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruiting agencies, universities, and industry organizations.
Employee Relations
- Coach managers regarding performance management, discipline, and employee development.
- Investigate employee complaints, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Assist in developing action plans to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Support conflict resolution and foster a positive workplace culture.
Corporate, Development & Property Management Support
- Provide HR support to development, construction, acquisitions, accounting, finance, leasing, property management, legal, and executive leadership teams.
- Assist leadership in organizational planning and workforce development initiatives.
- Support project-based staffing needs associated with new developments, acquisitions, and corporate growth.
- Partner with leadership on organizational restructuring and business initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist with compensation administration, salary benchmarking, and job classifications.
- Support annual performance review and merit increase processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs and employee communications.
- Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment processes.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain compliance with employment laws including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, and applicable state regulations.
- Conduct HR audits and maintain personnel records.
- Assist with unemployment claims, workers' compensation matters, and employee leave administration.
- Ensure accurate HRIS data management and reporting.
Training & Organizational Development
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Deliver management training on employment practices and leadership development.
- Assist in succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement and company culture programs.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare reports on turnover, recruiting metrics, engagement, retention, and workforce trends.
- Analyze workforce data and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain HR metrics that support organizational decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None
- Provides leadership and guidance to assigned HR team members.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting corporate organizations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience handling employee relations investigations and disciplinary matters.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Nows) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting real estate development, property management, construction, or related corporate environments.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
