Dance Teacher
Bella Ballerina is growing and opening a brand new dance studio! Studio 2B will open this Fall in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria VA and we are looking for energetic, creative, and reliable dance teachers who loves working with children ages 6-14years! And are ready to start training in mid July!
Our classes are unlike a traditional dance studio. We bring the fun to dance, and focus on making dancers feel welcome whether they are beginners or seasoned performers. Every class is an adventure, and we're looking for someone who enjoys making children laugh, learn, give them a solid dance technique background and believe in a little magic.
Schedule
- Select Weekday Evenings and One Weekend day are required
- Additional teaching opportunities, management positions, and expanded hours may become available for the right candidate as the studio grows
What You'll Do
- Teach fun, engaging ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, Kpop, or musical theater dance classes
- Create imaginative dance experiences.
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and a love of movement in every child.
- Build positive relationships with children and their families.
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to bring enthusiasm to every class.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Warm, outgoing, and naturally great with children, and their parents.
- Creative, energetic, and comfortable being silly and imaginative.
- Dependable and committed to work
- Passionate about dance, education, theater, or childhood development.
- A positive team player with excellent communication skills.
Dance teaching experience is a plus, but we're also interested in candidates with experience in:
- Dance or musical theater
- Preschool or elementary education
- Cheerleading or gymnastics instruction
- Camp counseling
- Children's entertainment
We provide training in the Bella Ballerina curriculum and teaching style. But you can share with us your specialty!

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Dance Teaching : 2 years (Required)
- Ballet, Tap, and Jazz : 5 years (Required)
