Brooklyn OT is a boutique pediatric occupational therapy practice dedicated to providing in-home and school-based services for families in Brooklyn. We are looking for an OT who can take on a part-time caseload. Both the caseload size and the client location can be tailored according to the preferences of the therapist.
POSITION AND REQUIREMENTS
About the role:
- Services provided in the client’s home, school, or afterschool program
- Clients range in age from 2-15 years
- Flexible scheduling and caseload size based on your availability, geographic preference, areas of expertise, and comfort
- 1099 contractor
Experience required:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- NY OT licensure and NBCOT registration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Continuing education and/or experience treating: executive functioning, self-regulation, motor planning, handwriting, ADLs
- Strong parent communication skills
- Independence and confidence working in the home
