Vigilantly monitor pool areas to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents, responding swiftly to emergencies with confidence and professionalism
Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical testing, and ensuring water quality standards are met
Provide engaging swim instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, fostering confidence and promoting healthy activity
Assist with guest services by answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring visitors have an enjoyable experience
Perform routine pool cleaning duties including skimming debris, scrubbing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness of the facility
Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following established safety protocols to handle emergencies effectively
Support overall pool operations by managing equipment checks, light maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Proven lifeguard experience with current certifications in CPR and First Aid
Strong swimming ability with the capacity to perform water rescues confidently
Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or supplies safely and efficiently
Detail-oriented with a focus on safety protocols and cleanliness standards
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or lift for extended periods while maintaining alertness during shifts

Must hold Current Red Cross Lifeguard or YMCA Lifeguarding Certification.

Ability to maintain certification and level of physical and mental readiness.
