What You'll Do
As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent patient care by:
- Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment
- Assisting the orthodontist during procedures such as placing brackets, changing wires, fitting appliances, and other orthodontic treatments
- Taking digital X-rays, photographs, and 3D scans
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment
- Accurately documenting treatment notes and updating patient records
- Helping maintain an efficient patient schedule and supporting the team as needed
- Creating a fun, positive, and comfortable experience for every patient
What We're Looking For
- Previous dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right person)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Radiology certification (if required by state)

Pay: $19.50 - $21.50 per hour
