Senior CNC Team Lead
$27.00-$34.00/hr + $2.50/hr Shift Differential
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Senior CNC Team Lead for a respected advanced manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist who is ready to lead a team, make an impact, and grow their career.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both CNC setup expertise and the ability to coach, develop, and support production employees.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support a team operating multi-axis CNC equipment
- Perform CNC setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting
- Ensure production, quality, and delivery goals are met
- Train and mentor team members
- Support hiring, employee development, and performance reviews
- Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and efficiency
Required Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on CNC setup experience (not just machine operation)
- Experience with tooling, offsets, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments
- Manufacturing leadership experience, either through a formal leadership role or by leading teams and projects on the production floor
- Experience participating in hiring decisions, employee evaluations, coaching, or performance management
- Multi-axis CNC experience preferred
- CNC programming experience is a plus
Leadership Experience Matters
Formal leadership titles are not required. Candidates with proven leadership experience and influence within a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
