We are looking for a dependable and motivated Tow Truck Driver / Roadside Assistance Driver to join our team. This position involves providing towing and roadside assistance services while delivering professional and respectful customer service.
Schedule & Compensation
- 12-hour shifts
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Paid weekly
- Commission-based pay
- Drivers receive 28.5% of the gross revenue generated by their assigned truck during their shift
- Earnings vary based on call volume and revenue generated
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tow truck and towing equipment
- Perform light-duty towing and roadside assistance
- Respond to dispatched calls promptly and maintain accurate ETAs
- Contact customers before arrival when necessary
- Properly secure and transport vehicles
- Complete pre-shift truck and equipment inspections
- Keep the truck clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Take care of company equipment and customer vehicles
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable working independently
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on scheduled shift
- Towing or roadside experience preferred
We are looking for motivated drivers who understand this is a performance-based position—the more revenue the truck generates, the greater the driver’s earning potential.
Compensation: 28.5% of the truck’s gross revenue generated during your shift, paid weekly.
