Diesel Mechanic
Job Summary:
Diesel Tech Inc is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines in commercial and industrial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair engine problems (e.g. burned out catalytic converter, leaks in the oil filter, etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems (e.g. burned out light bulbs, etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Diagnose and repair truck engines (diesel or gasoline) and perform repairs (e.g. replacing O-rings, bearings, valves etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Repair truck engines (diesel or gasoline) and perform repairs (O-rings replacing etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all components of a diesel engine (cooling systems, cooling radiators, exhaust systems, etc.)

Qualifications:
Candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- ASE Certification preferred but not required.
- 2-3 years experience repairing or maintaining diesel engines or other electrical or mechanical devices preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
