We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients, helping them improve their daily living and functional skills.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions to patients.
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving daily living skills.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active OTA license in the state of Florida.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in pediatrics.
