Plant Worker/General Laborer Position
Hours required:
This position's hours are M-F 7a-3p.
Frequent overtime is available with this position.
We are a small industrial material processing company looking for a full time plant worker/general laborer. A good fit for our company is someone that enjoys working with their hands and does not mind getting dirty or working outside year round.
Employee will start off operating a pneumatic bagging machine. Skid steer and loader training will follow. Tasks may be assigned to support plant manager as needed.
We train employees on-site who do not possess any experience.
Job Duties:
- Shoveling under conveyors
- Loading out material shipments
- Operating wheel loader to feed processing plant and loading semi-trailers
- Operating skid steer to load semi-trailers
- Operating skid steer to transport packaged material
- Climbing ladders of various lengths (10ft - 70ft)
- Machine maintenance
- Screen changes in screener
- Bagging material in vinyl supersack bags
- Operating pneumatic bagging machine
- Various work with hand tools
- Heavy lifting of parts/tools
Experience a plus in:
- Operating skid steer and wheel loader
- Servicing screw conveyors
- Arc welding, torch cutting
- Diesel equipment maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
