Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and workspaces using industrial cleaning tools and chemicals
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food processing and manufacturing zones to meet health and safety regulations
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfection in various facility areas
- Assist with heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, equipment, or waste materials to support efficient workflow
- Follow detailed sanitation procedures during shift changes and after production runs to prevent contamination
- Monitor and document sanitation activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas needing special attention or additional cleaning measures
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in industrial or commercial settings preferred
- Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals required
- Background in food production, manufacturing, or food processing environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed sanitation protocols and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
