Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to provide psychotherapy in a supportive private practice setting under the clinical supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), in accordance with New York State regulations.
The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care and is eager to continue developing their clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to clients.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborate with referral sources and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches.
Qualifications
Required
- Active New York State LMSW license
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain if required)
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation in an electronic health record
Preferred
- Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, or mood disorders
- Experience with children, adolescents, couples, or families
- Training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, or other evidence-based modalities
Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
