Litigation Paralegal
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of relevant litigation experience to join our Naples team. This is a full-time, in-office role supporting attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, from case initiation through discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Organize, maintain, and manage case files, including electronic and physical documents. Track deadlines using docketing systems.

Discovery Support: Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission). Organize and summarize large volumes of documents and data.

Pleadings & Motions: Assist in drafting, editing, and filing pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and other court documents. Ensure compliance with Florida and federal court rules.

Research & Investigation: Conduct factual investigations, legal research, and client interviews. Summarize depositions, transcripts, and medical or expert records.

Trial Preparation: Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and demonstrative aids. Coordinate logistics for trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Attend court proceedings as needed.

Client & Witness Coordination: Communicate with clients, experts, and witnesses. Schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances.

Billing & Administrative: Track time, assist with client billing, and handle general administrative tasks to support the litigation team.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the firm's litigation practice.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience in civil/commercial litigation (Florida experience preferred).

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and federal rules.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and case management/e-discovery software (e.g., Relativity, iManage, or similar).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Superior organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Other: Must be a team player with a professional demeanor. Prior experience in a mid-to-large law firm is preferred.
