The IBM i System Administrator will be a key member of a team responsible for monitoring, maintaining, updating, securing, troubleshooting, and recovering systems in a large IBM i Data Center environment. The Administrator will report to the System Administration Supervisor, OutLink Data Center Infrastructure, and will work with other professionals to address the needs of the department. Good verbal and written communications are needed for this position to interact with internal and external customers. Administrator responsibilities are to maintain multiple system i partitions to ensure customer access and application uptime, work with data center operations, internal groups, and customers to resolve customer and data center issues. This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Charlotte, NC; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.
The salary range for this position is $72,700- $91,100 and will be determined based on location and experience level.
