Position Overview
ProTech Make Ready is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Make Ready Cleaner to help prepare residential rental properties for new tenants. This position is responsible for performing high-quality move-out and make-ready cleanings to ensure every home is clean, sanitized, and ready for its next occupant. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and maintains high cleaning standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete make-ready cleanings of vacant rental homes, apartments, and duplexes.
- Clean kitchens, including cabinets (inside and out), countertops, sinks, appliances, and backsplashes.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Dust all surfaces, ceiling fans, vents, blinds, baseboards, doors, windowsills, and light fixtures.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot clean all flooring throughout the property.
- Remove cobwebs, fingerprints, stickers, and other marks from walls, doors, and trim when applicable.
- Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass doors.
- Empty trash and remove any remaining debris from the property.
- Report maintenance concerns or damages noticed during the cleaning process.
- Ensure each property meets company quality standards before completion.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies while following proper safety procedures.
- Travel to various properties throughout the service area as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential, move-out, or make-ready cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to notice areas that require extra care.
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
