ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):
- Experience working with adults with I/DD preferred, or experience treating individuals with physical, cognitive, and psychological ailments

Competence in administering and interpreting standardized assessments

Supervise COTA(s)

Evaluate and treat clients

Timely completion of recertifications, progress notes, and discharge summaries
-
Adapting and modifying the course of treat as indicated

Communicate with supports coordinator to promote implementation of recommendations in home and community settings
-
Developing treatment plans in line with ISPs
-
Educate staff on recommendation to be performed outside of therapy sessions
-
Adheres to DDD guidelines for habilitative and rehabilitative therapy services
-
Follows directive from Clinical Director

Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
-
Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective client care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
-
Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy
-
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience occupational therapy; preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities (special needs)

Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives

Experience with Foothold AWARDS preferred
