We are seeking a dedicated Service Writer to join our team at Honda of Annapolis in Annapolis. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing customer experiences by effectively communicating service needs and ensuring smooth operations within our service department.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess their service needs to provide accurate recommendations.
- Prepare detailed service orders and communicate with technicians regarding repairs.
- Manage customer inquiries and follow up on service progress.
- Upsell additional services based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote vehicle services.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and dealership policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a dealership environment as a Service Writer or similar role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes is preferred.
- Ability to upsell services based on customer needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with service management software is a plus.
