We are seeking a Technical Training Specialist to join our team at The Star Supply Company. As a Technical Training Specialist, you have the opportunity to comfortably use your HVAC knowledge and experience to actively and purposefully assist our customers with questions on installation, service and repair related to our products. Our Training Specialist will also provide in-house training classes and off-site trainings at customer locations in the CT and the Western Mass areas. In this role, you will be working closely with our in-house Trane FSR to develop technical sales support for our Inside Sales Team and Territory Managers as well as other opportunities to help support the goals of The Star Supply Company.

You Provide:
- A minimum of 8 years of HVAC senior-technician level field experience.
- A solid knowledge of Hydronics.
- The ability to assist with tech support via phone calls, text messages, emails and other electronic communication methods from customers on Trane and Daikin Products.
- A working knowledge of Wrightsoft HVAC design software or a willingness to learn.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software including Outlook and PowerPoint.
- First-rate verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to develop relevant curriculum and present quality training programs.
- A positive attitude that fosters willingness to provide solutions to assist customers.
- The ability to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork is key to success.
- An attention to detail that manifests in strong organizational skills.
- A dependable and reliable mode of transportation and valid driver’s license as well as a willingness to travel throughout the state of CT and into Western Mass to bring your knowledge directly to our customers.
- The ability to travel to training at our equipment manufacturers’ locations for product knowledge development
