American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Oncology night shift position requiring a KS or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Position is in a hospital setting on a combined oncology and general surgery unit
-
Works with oncology patients as well as general surgery cases
-
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
-
13-week contract assignment
-
No local candidates accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Active KS or compact RN license required

Current AHA or ARC BLS certification, not expiring within the first 30 days of assignment

Chemo certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology

At least 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg or Oncology nursing
-
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Minimum of one professional reference required; more may be needed depending on state

Responsible for providing nursing care to oncology and general surgery patients

Expected to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided upon hire

Must be prepared to submit complete professional documentation including license verification and certifications
